Fortune RX7 1600x1200 by donbenni Fortune RX7 1600x1200 by donbenni
Nothing really changed from the original except that it's now 1600x1200. So all you with super-large monitors can now get some Fortune action :)

Enjoy.

I think when I look at some of your greater pieces in a really high zoom level, it quite helps me when I'm making mine.

I always wondered how you get that glossy look, and it turns out to be far simpler than I ever thought...

Oh yeah i've seen the ss on your da account. You missed matched the background gradient on the right side of the image, but it isn't too noticeable :p

Nice work. :)

If you want to have a shot and vectoring from a different angle and dont have a decent ref pic, let me know. I've got a 3D model ( [link] ) so can render it from any angle for ya.

Gotta love this car. ;)

The only tutorials i have are in my gallery. Have a look at both Version 2 and Version 3 of the tutorial as they are slightly different and you might get more info from reading both.

Basically, to get a block-shaded look i use the pen tool to draw paths and fill the paths with a colour. I use about 5 differents shades and put each shade on a different layer.

Hi There!
You have just earned yourself an ODD ! :winner: congrats!
ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure (and ALSO, to show off people who I think are undeniably talented in their own genre of art, regardless of their #'s of fav's or pageviews. I like what I like ;)). Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists. If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! xoxo Sandi
