Loved this little beauty since i first race in it in GT3 but didn't get around to making it. Then the 'drifting thing' happened and it would've been a bit fanboy-esque to do this then, so i've waited until now. And now fortunately it's done. Not the best i've done, but i'm pretty happy with it. The back wheel sucks like a pogo stick comedian, i'll see into getting that finished soon.
Ah the lights, yeah it's not easy. I just spend ages creating loads of layers of the important bits. Contrast is really important, so include loads of lights and darks. Plus the overal shading is very important to give depth etc. I.e. the rim around a light will be shaded darker and this makes the light stick out, and by creating a highlight that covers the top half of the light it makes it look shiny and raised... or something along those lines. Just experiement and take loads of time.
fantastic work. i have a love/hate relationship with that car. love it coz it's so cool and old skool, but hate it coz it just didn't go anywhere it gt3.
you've (apart from the rear wheel - as you said) done a fantastic job on this, i esp love the headlights, great attention to detail.
Whoa there! In my opinion, in GT3, you can't find a better car to start with. I pretty much completed the whole of Beginner league with this beauty. I still go back now and do the Beginner Turbo cup with this car just for the joy of it. It drifts like a dream and you can still win races with it. The replays are just awesome. Overtaking whilst drifting, yes please
wow, awesome. I know exactly what you mean about the drift craze too. Also, I didn't even notice the back wheel until you pointed it out. awesome work though, I look forward to the next one
by the weay, how the hell did you make the lights look so good?!?!
